Finance Director

Position Functions:  This position performs a variety of complex and supervisory, professional, administrative and technical accounting and financial functions in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the City. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in finance administration or accounting, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • Municipal government or consulting experience working with local governments.
  • Valid driver’s license. 
  • Must be bondable.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range:  $105,518 - $144,684

Library Page


The City of Faribault is accepting applications for FUTURE openings for a Library Page at the Buckham Memorial Library.  Applicants must complete a City application packet to be eligible for this position.  Application packets are available at www.faribault.org or at Faribault City Hall, 208 NW First Avenue, Faribault, MN  55021.  Original application packets can be mailed or dropped off.  Please note: emailed or faxed documents will not be accepted.

Position Functions
Position focuses on shelving books and other library materials and keeping the library clean and orderly.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to read, alphabetize, and put numbers in order (including decimals).

Work Hours:  13 hours per week
Thursday, 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Starting Pay:  $10.00 - $11.50 per hour

Library Circulation Aide

The City of Faribault is accepting applications for FUTURE openings for a Circulation Aide at the Buckham Memorial Library. Position Functions
Performs a variety of routine clerical and manual work in circulating library materials and providing service to library patrons.

 

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  High school education preferred or currently in High School.

Experience: Experience in customer service; public library experience is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in keyboarding and computer skills.

Experience using cash register/making change and operating office equipment.
