The Faribault Economic Development Authority (EDA) has the responsibility of identifying and carrying out initiatives and efforts that support and encourage business growth, retention, and attraction. 
The EDA works in concert with City Council and select economic development partners to ensure existing and prospective businesses have access to the tools, data, and resources they need. The EDA is offering the 2018 Downtown Commercial Rehabilitation and Exterior Building Improvement Program with some slight modifications to the 2017 program guidelines.
